Creativity expert on tour of Croatia

28/Jun/2007

A UK creativity expert is Croatia bound to launch the Croatian version of his seminal book ‘Creativity in Public Relations’ and will deliver talks on creative leadership in Zagreb and Rijeka.

Andy Green of Wakefield-based  creativity@work will be working with organisations such as the Croatian Public Relations Association to help transform their flexible thinking and creativity skills.

This is the latest international trip for Andy who earlier this year completed a three-week tour across Australia and has previously shared his creativity insights in China, the United States, Egypt, France and Ireland.

Croatian is the latest language version of Andy’s book ‘Creativity in Public Relations’, the world’s first book on the subject. Now in its third edition, the book has also been translated in to Russian, Indonesian, Chinese and Polish.

Andy’s works include ‘Effective Personal Communication Skills’,  also published by Kogan Page, and he is co-author of ‘A minute with Tony Blair’ produced after a chance encounter with the former Prime Minister.

Andy is the driving force behind the Wakefield Media Centre – which is believed to be Britain’s only moo-ing building, and the world’s smallest conference centre, a two seater car which drives to communities to help people come up with creative ideas to overcome their challenges.

Commenting on his latest tour Andy said: “The Croatians are keen to invest in expanding their creative skills and abilities, and I can help them meet the universal challenges we all face of how we achieve more with less.”

He added: “Croatia itself is a remarkable story of creativity, with a major regeneration programme in place to rebuild the country.”
